Caroline Verrilli, MA
Hi! I’m Caroline, a mental health clinician with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from William James College. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Women’s & Gender Studies from Providence College.
I have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults and families. I specialize in navigating trauma, anxiety and life transitions. I have prior clinical experience providing outpatient, school-based, and family therapy with youth and caregivers and providing parenting skills training.
My approach is warm, client-centered, and trauma-informed, integrating play, attachment-based, person-centered, and somatic therapies. Common modalities I utilize in sessions are Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Play Therapy.
I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and supported. I practice with cultural humility and provide inclusive, affirming care rooted in respect for each person’s unique story and capacity to heal. In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, read, and practice yoga.
