Services are provided by licensed mental health clinicians or master’s-level professionals under supervision, all trained in both mental health counseling and performance psychology principles.

Mental Performance Coaching Payment Information

Mental Performance Services are out‑of‑pocket only. If, later, services formally transition to psychotherapy‑only, EMH may evaluate insurance billing prospectively, subject to credentialing, medical necessity, and EMH Financial Policies.

A valid credit/debit card on file is required before services begin and will be used to charge amounts due at the time of service and any applicable fees per EMH policies.

Fees & Session Length

Please note that the target session length is 60 minutes (up to 70 minutes).

MPC Rates (out‑of‑pocket):

  • Initial Assessment (up to 70 min): $175

  • Standard Session (up to 70 min): $150

  • Additional/Ancillary Services (on request): $250/hour (e.g., team/coach consults, specialized interventions). Scope and rate will be confirmed in writing in advance.

No‑Show/Late Cancellation: $65 if less than 24 hours’ notice; not insurance‑covered.

Meet Performance Coach Katie Pieterse, EdM

Katie is a pre-licensed mental health clinician, performance coach, and former DI athlete.

Being a high achiever with big goals—whether in athletics, the arts, business, or leadership—can feel overwhelming when expectations and pressure weigh you down. It’s challenging to strive for success while managing performance anxiety, stress, transitions, and fear of failure. As a mental performance consultant pursuing CMPC certification, I specialize in mental skills coaching and mindset development to help individuals excel across diverse performance arenas.

I provide mental conditioning grounded in evidence-based practices to address the unique demands of competitive sports, creative expression, and executive leadership. Together, we’ll work on building awareness, enhancing focus, regulating your nervous system, silencing the inner critic, and strengthening resilience and confidence. These strategies empower you to optimize performance, sustain motivation, and rediscover your core strengths and values.
