Jennifer Alix, MSW

Intake Manager

Jennifer graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. During her undergraduate studies, she interned at a group home for adolescents, focusing on behavioral support and youth engagement.

Motivated by a deep commitment to mental health, Jennifer earned her Master’s in Social Work with a Mental Health Certificate from Simmons University in 2023. While completing her graduate studies, she interned at Boston Children’s Hospital and Manet Community Health Center, gaining hands-on experience in clinical social work across diverse populations. Following this, Jennifer worked as an MSW clinician, supporting individuals of all ages across a range of specialties.

Before stepping into her current role, Jennifer worked as an Intake Social Worker at a startup Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for adolescents. There, she reviewed intake procedures with patients/families/providers, conducted biopsychosocial assessments, facilitated therapeutic groups, collaborated with care teams, and contributed to marketing efforts to promote the program and expand outreach.

Her passion for advocacy and improving access to care led her to her current position as Intake Manager. In this role, she champions a client-centered approach, identifies and addresses challenges in the intake process, and collaborates closely with clinicians to ensure smooth transitions and positive outcomes for patients.
