Karyssa Bendiksen, LICSW
Director of Clinician Operations
Karyssa is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 10 years of experience supporting children, families, and adults. She has served as a School Clinician, In-Home Therapist, and Outpatient Therapist, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, inattention, impulsivity, post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and caregiver stress.
Specializing in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and play and expressive therapy, Karyssa employs a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to empower her clients, helping them feel more confident and in control.
In addition to her clinical work with clients, Karyssa offers clinical supervision and mentoring to staff, fostering professional development and enhancing well-being to ensure effective client care and work satisfaction. She works closely with the Equilibria Leadership Team to make Equilibria a preferred choice for both clinicians and clients.
Karyssa holds a bachelor's degree in psychology (2012) and a master's degree in social work (2017), both from Bridgewater State University.
