Katie Weinstein, MSW
Katie is a thoughtful and dedicated clinician with a background in school social work and outpatient therapy. She has experience working with individuals of all ages, addressing a range of challenges including eating disorders, PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, borderline personality disorder, and more. With a foundation in trauma-informed care, Katie’s warm and supportive approach creates a safe space for clients to process their emotions, reflect on their experiences, and gain new insights.
She draws from a variety of evidence-based methods, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamics, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Katie guides clients toward a deeper understanding of themselves, bringing compassion, humor, authenticity, and a nonjudgmental perspective to their work together. She offers guidance, gentle challenges, and encouragement to help clients build resilience, confidence, and sustainable coping strategies for lasting well-being.
Katie holds a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Human Development from Virginia Tech. She earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a Certificate in Trauma from Boston College
