Krista Giordano, LCSW


Krista is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 7 years of experience working with children, families, adults and couples. She has had the privilege to work in many settings including schools, in-home therapy, out-patient therapy, in hospitals, and within the criminal justice system. Krista specializes in trauma informed services, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with an emphasis on motivational interviewing.  The majority of her work has been with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, substance use, anger management, relationship/family challenges and more.

Krista believes it is important to build a strong therapeutic relationship and  meets her clients where they are at to build upon their strength in order to empower an individual to achieve their short and long term therapeutic goals. 

Krista graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2014 with her Bachelors in Forensic Psychology. In 2019 She graduated from Adelphi University with her Masters in Social Work.
