Liz Spiller, MA

Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a mental health clinician with a warm, collaborative, and relational approach to therapy. I provide individual counseling to clients across the lifespan, supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the foundation of meaningful change. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I approach therapy from a holistic, strengths-based perspective, meeting each client where they are and honoring their unique experiences, identities, and goals. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, somatic awareness, and attachment-informed work. I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs, helping clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and strengthen self-compassion.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maine. Before becoming a clinician, I worked as an elementary teacher, teaching students in kindergarten, first, and second grade. My background in education continues to inform my work with clients of all ages, allowing me to bring a developmental and compassionate perspective to the therapeutic relationship.
