Lydia Harrison, LCSW
Hi my name is Lydia, I am a Master of Social Work graduate from Boston University and am currently pursuing my LICSW credential. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families throughout the lifespan and specialize in relational and attachment issues. I integrate clinical approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy to best suit my clients’ needs. I have experience working with adolescents in a school-based setting, as well as couples counseling.
I am committed to creating a space where clients of all identities, lived experiences and backgrounds feel affirmed by fostering a collaborative therapeutic environment. I emphasize social justice and trauma-informed care in my work and aim to help my clients feel more connected to their authentic selves.
In my free time I enjoy a wide range of hobbies. You can often find me knitting and staying physically active. I find that these practices help me stay grounded and present, allowing me to show up as my best self.
I would love to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your journey.
