Madelyn Mallaghan, MS

Hi, I’m Madelyn! I’m a master’s level clinician with a deep passion for supporting children, adolescents and young adults as they navigate life’s ups and downs. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, school-related stress, low self-esteem, attention difficulties, hyperactivity, impulsivity, and adjustment challenges—especially those related to changes in family dynamics. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where young clients feel safe, heard, and empowered.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and strength-based, drawing from mindfulness practices, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I strive to meet each person where they are, honoring their unique experiences while helping them build confidence and develop skills for emotional resilience and growth.

I earned both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College. My background includes providing in-home therapy to children and working in high-pressure crisis settings—experiences that have shaped my commitment to trauma-informed, responsive care. I’m especially dedicated to fostering an inclusive and affirming environment where every individual feels accepted and supported just as they are.
