Mandy Magalhaes, LICSW

A woman with long, straight, purple and pink ombre hair, smiling and showing her teeth, wearing a black top, lipstick, and long earrings with a pearl and a gold chain, standing in front of a glass window with some trees visible outside.

I’m Mandy, a holistic Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, and current Somatic Educator for Women trainee with over 8 years of experience in the mental health field. My work centers on women’s wellness, with a focus on supporting women navigating ADHD, ASD, chronic stress, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and life transitions.

Through working with a diverse range of clients, I’ve found that many women move through life feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, and stuck in survival mode. My approach is rooted in body-based healing, helping clients cultivate a deeper sense of safety, regulation, and self-trust. Together, we’ll explore how emotions and lived experiences are held in the body while creating a warm, supportive space for healing, reconnection, and growth.

I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, integrating somatic therapy, mindfulness, expressive arts, CBT, psychoeducation, and other evidence-based approaches. My work is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping you feel more resourced, connected, and empowered to navigate life with greater authenticity and ease.

We cannot think our way to safety; we must feel it.
