Morgan Hodges, MA
Morgan is a compassionate and holistic mental health clinician focused on helping clients open up to their inner experiences and take meaningful steps to build the life they want to live. She uses primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral approach aimed at transforming the way you relate to your emotions to enable values-guided action. Morgan’s therapeutic style is also informed by Interpersonal Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, and Family Systems Theory, and she prioritizes creating a therapeutic relationship that facilitates healing and relational growth.
Morgan enjoys working with people struggling with social or generalized anxiety, depression, relationship issues, executive functioning difficulties, personality disorders, and life transitions. She works with clients aged 15+, and is especially experienced working with college students and emerging adults. She is passionate about helping clients cultivate an understanding of the interconnectedness of mental, physical, and spiritual health, and creating change that is rewarding and sustainable for each individual client.
Morgan graduated with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Masters in Theology and Ministry from Boston College. Morgan also holds a BS in Cognitive Science and Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys playing music, fitness, crafting, and spending time outdoors.
