Priti Patel, MA

Priti Patel, M.A. (she/her), is a mental health clinician holding a dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience from Regis College and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. Priti’s integrative therapeutic style incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and neuroscience-informed therapy, tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

Priti embodies a preventive and collaborative approach to care, prioritizing early intervention, prevention, and longevity. She works closely with her clients while actively partnering with primary care providers, psychiatrists, gynecologists, dietitians, and school counselors to ensure thoughtful, comprehensive care across all aspects of health.

Priti integrates her expertise in neuroscience with a compassionate, evidence-informed approach to psychotherapy. She recognizes that trauma affects not only relationships and attachment patterns, but also neurobiology, psychiatric symptoms, and medical health. This perspective informs her treatment approach, including careful consideration of medication management, and the mind–body connection. She is committed to helping clients feel understood and supported, while facilitating more adaptive, connected, and meaningful lives.

At the heart of Priti’s clinical work is a deep belief that healing occurs within safe, secure, and attuned relationships. Her counseling approach is warm, collaborative, and relational, rooted in fostering a sense of safety and acceptance. She views the therapeutic relationship as a central conduit for transformation and growth, meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they come home to themselves. Priti supports clients in reconnecting with their inner child, reclaiming their identities, and expanding their capacity to hold grief throughout life.

Priti has experience providing outpatient mental health services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She works as both a generalist and as a reproductive mental health specialist. As a generalist, she specializes in the following diagnoses: anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, and trauma-related disorders across all genders.

As a reproductive mental health specialist, Priti supports both women and adolescent girls recovering from complex trauma, PMDD, anxiety and depression, eating disorders, and body-image difficulties, infertility, and perinatal mental health. With extensive experience treating women diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, and related reproductive health concerns, Priti recognizes the powerful intersection between gynecological and mental health.

With a specific focus on healthy female adolescent development, Priti helps adolescent girls cultivate emotional resilience and navigate gender specific challenges associated with female adolescence. Priti understands that adolescence can be a tender, and often overwhelming stage of life, marked by social pressures, identity exploration, and emotional intensity.

In Priti's free time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, traveling, and learning about new cultures. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
