Reese Johnson, MSW

I believe in a client-centered therapeutic approach that is collaborative and strengths-based. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgemental space where you feel comfortable being your most authentic self. My goal is to work alongside you, building on your strengths to navigate any challenges you may be facing.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development and a Master's in Social Work, both from Boston College. Much of my experience comes from my work in the Boston Public Schools System where I supported students experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression, as well as those navigating change, difficult life transitions, and interpersonal conflict. I also have experience in the humanitarian sector, supporting mental health and psychosocial well-being in diverse settings. In therapy, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, and more. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach; together we will discover the strategies and skills that work best for you.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors whenever I can. I offer both in-person and telehealth appointments!
